Managing your own website can be a time consuming and complex task. We offer schools an easily managed website service that meets all the essential requirements for a school website at a very low cost. This article summarises the service. We recognise that schools require a website for a variety of purposes such as marketing and communication. In addition, schools without a modern and regularly updated site may find themselves at a disadvantage in terms of parental or public perception.
Conceiving and implementing a website can be time consuming and expensive and many schools opt to allow a keen parent or member of staff to produce a site, only to find later when that person is no longer available that it becomes outdated, unmanageable or completely inaccessible. The majority of schools do not wish to become involved in the nuts and bolts of hosting and website design; they simply require an easy way to manage their site to maintain a professional appearance with a minimum of effort.We aim to address these issues with a simple affordable service.

We aim to meet the following needs:- a ready-to-use website with no technical skills required
- a domain name provided within the co.za domain
- initial customisation of your site’s colour scheme, banner and logo to your requirements
- up to five hours of additional time per term for subsequent customisation and updates to your site’s ‘branding’, i.e. banner and logo and information, (not changes to site layout)
- the ability to manage the site from anywhere
- compliance with ICASA and most Smart Phones (iPhone and Blackberry) and all Cell Phones (via Opera, which you can download for free) and Internet Explorer, Chrome, and Firefox.
